Skyrim's main story revolves around the players efforts to defeat Alduin, the first born of Tamriel's main Deity, Akatosh. Alduin has been Prophesised that Alduin will destroy the world. This takes place two hundred years after the Previous installment, Elder Scrolls: IV, Oblivion, in the land of Skyrim during a Civil War caused by the King dying in a dual against the Leader of The Stormcloaks.
